Weather forecast still force 5/6 on the nose !

We slipped our lines just after 7.30am this morning as the winds seem to be less first thing, building up during the afternoon.

The original plan was to go 80 miles direct to Fuengirola to meet up with Bev for Saturday night out, but the strong headwinds and short sea were exhausting so we have re arranged our night out to Sunday and diverted into Marina Del Este to split the trip.

Marina Del Este is lovely if a little expensive, but I would have paid more to stop for an afternoon of sun and tranquillity after 7 hrs of being bounced around !

Shame they haven’t got Satellite TV – Saturday night and I am so missing X Factor !

Our friends, Jeremy and Addie, on their Moody 42, left the same time as us but have to make it to Gibraltar to have a new engine fitted on Monday and so they are still tacking their way 150 miles West – a long slog !
