Yes, finally we are making mileage. Yesterday an unprecedented 150 miles and today we did even better. A solid 158 miles even with reefing down at night. I saw a rainbow at SeaWalk’s bow today. That’s a good sign too. We are doing above 7 knots.

The sea is very tricky with a cross sea making big waves now and then. SeaWalk lurches sideways since it is impossible to take both two sets of waves from behind and still maintain a good course. Course is everything now, as is speed. Sleeping is difficult as well in this sea with this speed. But we really want to get to St Lucia now. Needless to say we are still enjoying almost every moment, but 20 days is enough.

We celebrated our 1000 miles to go party, only by then we had 770 miles to go. As I write this we only have some

670 miles to go. The computer tells us Land Fall will be between 14-12 at night or 16-12 in the morning depending on our maintained speed.

Go SeaWalk go!
