Just got the latest GRIB file as CNN haven’t updated anything for a while and still have Irene at 37N, I show it at around 39N close to Cape May in Delaware Bay and the eye into New York at around 1100ET. So we got the northern edge at midnight, 12 hours before the eye arrives, I expect the southern edge will take slightly less time to clear.

 

Then Monday we can go back down the river, except as usual these things use all the bloody wind up in one go and there looks like nothing left for us to sail with, so motoring again.
