What’s gone wrong with the weather!!! more wind F6-8, blowing a bloody hooley, the boat was being pushed hard onto the pontoon and the forecast shows more wind… what lovely english weather.  No wonder everyone goes abroad.  It such a shame the UK could be fabulous if only the weather was warmer.

Now back on the boat after our dash to see our new grandson, Ah!!!!  We explored Plymouth, visited the Barbican area, had lunch in the Glassblowing House overlooking Sutton Marina.  Sunday again it was so blowy we stayed around the Mayflower marina ( got 50% discount as part of Transmarche), had Sunday lunch in the Yacht club and watched wimbeldon on TV is was the opening ceromony as they now have a roof over centre court.

Monday – Caught a bus into town and went to Aquarium which was pretty poor and then stocked up the fridge ready for our get away.

Even Nemo was looking for an escape.

We worked with the escape committee to get out of Plymouth, would we be able to make it off the pontoon between gust of 25 – 35 knots.  As Tuesday looked a reasonable day for a passage to Fowey see next blog.

Love to all
