Hi Guys again

Arrived after a beautiful down wind into Nynashamn which they call a city, 13,ooo people, we sailed 46 miles and arrived about 5pm, we just caught the marina office paid our fees they charge per metre of your beam not your length, so we both paid the same for once 250 Swedish Krona and got the low down on what was happening for Midsummer’s Day, they really celebrate the day, they dress up in local costumes, dance around the Maypole, sing, drink and eat local delicacies raw local fish with herbs and sour cream, so of course we joined in…

Local Shop and cafe

Marina

Busy high street

All at midsummer party in church gardens

Fancy maypole

Ready to jig…

The young girls running the Tombola stall

Lunch of raw fish on the local steamer

Unfortunately Kaikoura got one of his lines round his prop on leaving the berth, we moored up alongside to see if we could help, but a local diver freed the line for 50 SK, wish we had got a shot of Kaikoura sailing under jib onto the pontoon.. well sailed Steve.

See you all soon off to Uto next

Love S & D xxx
