African Seawing Dis-masted

Here are some of the images Frank sent us after his dismasting about 20M of the coast of Florida, we are not sure of the conditions but did hear of 70kt winds through the Bahamas, although the sea does not look rough in the pictures, so he may have had a structural failure.
 
Our rig is so strong – we have 10 mast supports - 2 forestays, 4 shrouds, 2 back stays and 2 check stays, so if we broke one we should survive, but a catamaran may have only 3, lose one and the rig is down (Sorry catamaran owners)
 
Now he is motoring 1,000M up to Chesapeake to be hauled out and repaired, but needs to find a hoist that can lift a cat with a 20ft beam
