Well there is another one off my “Bucket List”, Florida Keys - down to Key Largo and on to Key West. We picked up the rental, not a Red Mustang, but a reddish convertible – not quite the same singing “Chrysler Sebring 200 Suzie” to the Wilson Pickett tune. Quite a drive, down I-95 to Miami, the SR A1A South, through the Everglades on a single track road and the onto Key Largo and the Overseas Hwy, about 190 miles and 5 hours, we stayed overnight at a Motel on route and came back up today Mon Jan 3.

 

Met up with French Kiss, Alex is still upset with her Sense 50’s “Dock n Go” system with the rotating Saildrive, that trips out every time she really needs it. We will put the place on our cruising list for spending more time there in future years – just a really nice place, we did Mallory Square, Duval Street, Smathers Beach and the Key West Seaport Marina.
