Birthday Sunday

Suzie Too - Western Caribbean

We anchored last night in Antipoison Creek and set off after Suzanne had had her birthday treat and motored south into the wind. Weather was clear blue skies and sunny about 18 degrees as we headed down to the Hampton River ready to make our run around Cape Hatteras for Charleston in South Carolina.

I tried to leave the Birthday Girl in bed, but she insisted on togging up and weighing anchor and then hoisting the main to Reef 2, before she went below to blog, Facebook, text and call friends and family, so many thanks to you all for her messages, cards and pressies.

The day was fairly uneventful, apart from the recovery of my HOB – Hat Over Board – which we managed to retrieve with the boat hook and we are now anchored outside Hampton Uni in the river in about 4m of water with 2 other cruising boats.

Going to stay on board tonight as not sure about the current reversal in the river and the space is a bit tight, so the Champagne is cold and I will zap her with some Reiki and we can have a nice relaxing evening
