We had an easy day on Saturday after the sail up from Dominica and on
Sunday we rented a car for 3 days. First trip was to Jolly Harbour to meet
Minnie B & African Seawing for lunch at the beach restaurant. Phil told us
all the gossip from the RIDS this year â all very exciting, one sunken yacht,
one broken neck, boats detained in Brazil, one yacht expelled, just glad we had
a good one last year.
We took a look around the supermarket, which is very well stocked, so will
provision the boat from here. We were going to use the car, but having checked
with William, the Dockmaster, he is confident we can get into the marina with
our 2.6m draft, so we will take the boat round later in the week.
