Finally we have stopped and have a week to chill - with a beach and Coca Cola water that of course is not salty - everyone is looking forward to having a rest. I downloaded some images from the cameras today and cannot believe the places we have been, the things we have done, what we have seen and the experiences of a lifetime all in a few months - Wow doesn't even come close

Now today 3 April Lisa has just left and we will miss her, but also be good to get our own space again, and tomorrow 4 April is just 2 weeks left and I know we are all going to be in absolute floods of tears - all the grown men blubbing - very embarrassing.

Our friends on Maupiti (Jean Marc is in Jimmy Cornell's book "A Passion for Sailing" as they live in the same village and have sailed the Pacific together), told you I am sailing in prestigious company, said their friends did the RIDS 4 years ago and nothing has come even close since - not even sailing in the Caribbean and now it seems to have gone by in a flash and suddenly will be over.

We have had problems with boat systems, but have overcome them all - although the Balmar alternator is still off line and have no plans yet after 19 April when we are escorted by Sao Jao and the armed police safely from the Amazon, then a left turn to French Guyana and the Arianne Space Centre. From there a  few days in Paramaribo in Surinam and then up to Trinidad and who knows where from there - we don't.
