No wind so we motored out of Lagos around the bay to a place called Portimao which has a breakwater so you can get away from the Atlantic swell, it has a smart riverside promenade and lots of anchorages.  And again it festival time, so music until the early hours. Fat Boy Slim had been there the night before we arrived so David was miffed. It was a lovely anchorage with no swell and we swam around the boat to cool off every few hours. Just bliss!!!!

We are anchored with about 30 other boats all different nationalities, not many Brits as its holiday time they were mostly Spanish and Portuguese day tripping boats.

Feels like we are on holiday as we did a bit of beach visiting, walking up and down, sunbathing, sightseeing and swimming in the sea.   We stayed here 4 nights and had a beautiful chilling time.  No internet though so on the 5th day we decided to move to Faro a 35 miler.

Missing you all
