I am sick and tired of motoring, but it did get us here. If Iceland was not Europe enough, this is definitely it. There is now only to overnight sails before we are in Bergen. Tomorrow we set off for Shetland. We should be there on Wednesday. Lerwick in Shetland is a place I have sailed to many times with a yearly regatta going there from Bergen.
Torshavn is a very nice little place where ideally we should spend more time. This is not far from Norway though, so chances are we will come back. Coming in here was a little tricky as we did run into a counter current of five knots in one of the west to east sounds running in between the Faroe islands. That's a little too much so I did run between two islands to another parallel sound which fortunately had far less current. We got in here round about nine in the morning to a very good little marina dedicated to visitors.
