Necessity is in the Whitsundays

Necessity is definitely on the move. We are longing for the tropical islands and reefs of north Queensland. The first real stop is the famous Whitsundays where we just arrived. Not too much to report from the sail north although we did catch a seasnake on our fishing line. It had wrapped itself around the hook without actually being hooked. The bite is deadly so we were very careful when we unfurled it and let it go. We just have to be careful in the future. In addition to seasnakes and sharks these waters have box jellyfish (deadly) and saltwater crocs. The latter are called "salties" by the locals which makes it sound like a snack. Well, we all know who is the snack.
