Necessity is at the middle of the Caicos Bank

We have anchored for the night at 2,7 meters. Land is not in sight. Even so, this is not the place to sail without a good view of the sea around us and with the sun up high. In between the sandbanks there are the occasional rocks. You can only be certain to avoid them if you can see them.
Even so the sail here was good. You get used to the shallows and to avoid the shadows. Tomorrow we will head for the islands up to the northwest and the exit from the Caicos Bank. We will probably anchor there again before heading for Mayaguana Island in the Bahamas which is 50nm further to the northwest. Right now we will prepare a few steaks while the sun disappears in the sea.
