Fredrik has been onboard for 10 days. Now he is headed home again from Punta Arenas. We will let him off at Puerto Hambre, a small fishing village with a road to Punta Arenas. We will be there in an hour.
We had a bautiful sail yesterday through the straight of Magellan. The wind was good and the sun was shining at least part of the time. There were plenty of whales and seals, and even some of the small local penguins. What a change from two days ago when the wind was gusting to 40 knots.
After Fredrik leaves we will set course south again. This time the objective is Cape Horn. More follows,
