Necessity glides through the water. The log shows 7.2knots, but mr. Humboldt still prevails. That is costing us 0,5 knots or more. It also makes it rather chilly. We really have to dress up at night - at 6 degrees south.
But the sailing is nice today. We are slightly off the wind and the sun is shining. May that be a sign that we are leaving the cold current behind? That is what we hope for. And proper trade winds of course - wind that is on or abaft the beam.
Two pilot whales visited yesterday, but they were hardly interested in us. Everything is well on board and we are looking forward to the Moai statues on Easter Island. That will, however, still be a while.
