Land!

We have sighted land.... Still 55 NM to go, but we can see land, it must be high!
Other news, it is Chris’ birthday and Gill made cookies and put candles on them.
Chris also managed to catch two Mahimahi, but the second one, a big fella, managed to fight back at the 11th hour and wound Chris in the forehead whilst making an escape. Chris is not put off and still trying...
The wind has died again, so in 5 knots of apparent wind we are making 2.5-3 knots. But I am sure we will be in during the day tomorrow. This is without question our slowest ever ocean passage.
But the mood on board is good so why worry.
