We delayed our departure from Cocos by one day due to strong winds, it was gusting over 30 knots in the anchorage. It had the advantage that a yacht came in and we had a very pleasant evening aboard. One Australian, one Russian now Australian, one American and one still Russian. We probably drank more than we should for day before departure but a great bunch of people.
Unfortunately now 24 hours in we are struggling with too little wind, barely making 4 knots.  It is due to increase tonight, so fingers crossed.
Tomorrow marks the first anniversary of my Father’s death.  It will be a difficult day.
Fair winds
