We are now back on North Island heading to the boat tomorrow. We have been away from Star Charger for over five weeks...the longest time away since we have owned her.  We are close to marking the end of our Great New Zealand road trip from Cape Reinga to Bluff and back! We have travelled most of it with the Hendersons who we sadly sad good bye to yesterday. It has been an amazing six weeks!
Having spent four nights at the fantastic Gentle Annie campsite we moved on up to Abel Tasman National Park. The rain stopped and the sun came out! There was a swimming pool that we had fun playing...
We also took a boat trip up the coast to the amusingly named Tonga Quarry and walked back to Anchorage Bay. The boat trip was fantastic the girls and I sat on the bridge talking to the skipper most of the way.  The walk back took around five hours and was beautiful, next year we will do the whole trail!
Now a night in an hotel, drying out the tent to put it away for next year!
