We have removed the Autohelm and tried to take it apart. Failed... However we did manage to persuade it to disengage so put it back but left it disconnected. 

It is fine, we rarely use it, usually the Hydrovane self steering gear sails the boat for us. 

Following checking the Hydrovane on Sunday, Gill and I took to the water off the back of the boat. Great fun....being pulled through the water at 6 knots!

Today I noticed some slight wear on the jib sheets. So we furled the jib and sewed a leather cover over the area.

Our new satellite phone is working well, I am really pleased we were in the right place at the right time to buy it! Dicken is doing a great job of keeping us in the wind. 

Other than that we are now 11 days at sea with maybe two weeks to go and all is well,

Alex caught another tuna yesterday.
