Our fourth day at sea and everyone is getting used to the routine. Earlier today as I sat making water, Alison was on watch, Peter sat in his cabin playing guitar and singing to himself and Gill.....was sunbathing. All felt right with the world.
Yesterday we saw dolphins, just passing through, they didn’t stop to play but lovely to see all the same. We have seen the odd bird but not much else.
We had the Australian Border force fly over and call us to check who we were. They take control of their border very seriously. Amusingly, they have just flown over again, though no VHF call today.
The sea seems to have calmed a little so we are rolling less, the wind has filled to between 15 and 20 knots, the Hydrovane is doing sterling service as usual.
If only I can get the SSB to work....
Fair winds
