An interesting sail up from Grenada! We had decided to motors ail the last bit rather than tacking in however the engine had other ideas and overheated. No water going through. It was quite lumpy and we still had 10 to 15 knots of wind so I decided to ignore the engine and sail in to Tyrrel Bay. Some three hours later we made our final approach tack under full sail, jib, main and mizzen just as the sun dipped below the horizon. Just fantastic, why don't we do this more often? Needless to say we had a very warm welcome at The Lazy Turtle
Grenada was great as usual my sister and her family arrived and we took them to the Seven Sisters falls and Hashing! The Sailing Week provided a great backdrop of parties....much rum was consumed by all
A couple of days here and then Tobago Cays
Fair Winds
