We have now had the dogs and cat for over a week and all is well. It will be a sad day when we have to give them back! Blancu is usually the first up in the morning and being half Siamese has quite a voice, so I get woken if I am not already. We then have a group hug in the cockpit, a dog each side and the cat just in side the hatch. Then Taishie gets bored and starts rampaging around.... She is beginning to become reliable when called, more often than not if I just walk away she follows. Jester as ever remains cool and charming, protecting the boat from people, fish, seabirds and stray waves and sharing his love between the two of us.
Yesterday there was a dinghy concert in a bay just round from us, three and a half miles round and right out into the swell. I organised a little trip from here and five dinghies made it safely there and back. It was fantastic if a rather wet ride there.
A tug is anchored between two floating platforms and everyone just ties their dinghy behind the tug. The platforms house the bar and seats for those without dinghies. The music was great a mix of rock and reggae. Also a great place to catch up with people you haven't seen for awhile.
Take care and enjoy....
