Well, for the first time since we left Ipswich we are on the hard...
We hauled to repair the repair that was done "not so well" just before we left, to scrub the bottom and to replace the anodes. I can't help feeling that scuba gear would be a cheaper option in the long run!
We are in North Sound, a great yard. All the guys are very helpful and friendly.
There are a couple of almost stray dogs that live here. As I was polishing the boat at 6am this morning, every time I put a cloth down the dog picked it up and brought it to me! Very sweet!
Tomorrow I hope to polish the top sides while the resin goes hard. Then re activate the Coppercoat and back in the water.
Just in time to get back to Jolly Harbour, buy a secondhand windlass (I hope) and meet Bizz, Jol and the 'Phews.
Hard days though, working from 6 till 6 I'm not used to that anymore...
Time for bed
