Well the wind continued for days and topped 45 knots, a force 9! So quite eventful. Several boats dragged but fortunately none near us. It did get quite tiring with no one really sleeping and the VHF going off every night with cries for help. But it is quieter now.....
I finished polishing the coach roof and cockpit and it looks fantastic. Note to self, don't leave it so long next time. Not much else got done, it is hard when things are falling off the side at anchor!
Taishie knocked Gill's sunglasses into ten metres of water but they were recovered by some kind diver! We had a lovely walk out to Douglas Bay with the girls and the dogs, a great swim on a deserted beach and found some sea glass. It has been great spending time with all the guys off Spirited Lady, much food and some rum has been consumed!
It was a year ago today that we first came to this beautiful island still one of our favourites.
