Well, we left the marina and headed out to Jambe de Bois, our favourite bar in the Caribbean. A lovely evening there and off at Sparrow's Fart.
A very lively sail across the Matinique Channel with winds gusting to 29 knots. Made it up to St Pierre and anchored under the volcano just off the town pier. Since anchoring here the wind has tp poet 35 knots, quite extreme for a quiet nights sleep..
To our delight, Rozinante 1 sailed in. We have spent the last few days with Ian which had been great. Yesterday we went to the Neisson rum distillery very interesting. Though it seems a sadly under utilised resource as far as a tourist attraction goes. Even the French speakers were wandering around slightly lost, and of course no one speaks English, nor is anything written in English.
Following that Ian took us to dinner at a fabulous restaurant called L'Alsage A Kay, a thank you for all the home cooked meals he has enjoyed on Star Charger, and a lovely evening.
Today, in contrast I fitted a new toilet. The for'ard heads had become unacceptable. All done by lunchtime in time for a well earned beer.
Leaving again at first light tomorrow bound for Dominica, our tickets for the PAYS barbecue have already been procured by Spirited Lady! Here' hoping the passage is not too rough.
Fair winds and remember to follow your dreams
