We have now been in NZ for a month! Not done much exploring but we have been out a few times. 

Today we had a lovely day. First thing there was a classic car gathering in Paihia the local town. Really great, 50 or 60 cars. There were four cars there that I had owned a similar car. The highlight of the show for me was the Jaguar SS I think the owner had owned it from new! We them went for a trial sail in an inflatable catamaran. Surprisingly good at sailing but rather expensive. Still it would be nice to have a boat to sail round in on sunny afternoons. 

The jobs are coming on well. We now have a leak free boat! And one that doesn't have rust stains all down the sides, plus the anchor and locker now look great. We still have loads to do but some of them are quite small!

The plan is to leave on Tuesday and head south for Whengarei
