A flip over the Exumas
While at Loggerhead marina, we met David Adams, owner of the N40 Intrepid.
We thoroughly enjoyed his company and also looked forward to meeting his wife,
Amy when they got their Nordhavn down to the Exumas in January. Then, much
to Mike’s delight we got an email telling us that David was flying his plane
down to Georgetown, so he would have access to it down here – and that he would
stop over at Staniel Cay to visit us.
We knew the day he was planning to come in, but not the time – and then a
light aircraft buzzed TIME2. Mike knew immediately that it was David in his
Cessna 185. We headed over to the strip – which is conveniently accessed
by dinghy dock and met David. He then took us for a flight over the keys.
Mike, in the righthand seat, was able to fly most of the trip – and it was such
a treat for us both. Here are some of the many pics I took.
Unbelievable water of the
Exumas.
