Our anchor has grown
roots!
We have now been in Moorea for 15 days -
must a record for us! We have enjoyed this anchorage and island so much it
has been hard to leave. Not only is the place beautiful, but we have enjoyed the
company of new friends. For a few days we had 3 Nordhavn trawlers in the
bay, with Gray Matter (62) & Dirona (52) - quite a sight amongst
the sailboats!
We have driven to different places
on the island, in a car, on our bikes and in our dinghy. We have done
some fun snorkeling, toured the juice factory, seen the turtle rescue
facility, checked out some awesome hotels, had a few parties - and now
finally it is time to move on. Tomorrow morning at 3am we will head
out of this bay to Huahine - another island in the Society group, about 90nm
north west of here.
