We have just sailed back up to Tyrrel Bay, Carriacou after a busy 10 days doing boat maintenance, in the south of Grenada. The fridge is great, the watermaker is fixed - saving the hassle/ cost of buying water. In the Grenadines it is 65c (ZAR) a litre. We also got a new anchor – a Delta 40kg, fondly known as Chuck, to replace the rather incompetent C.Q.R. Anchor dragging , which is highly unpleasant in the middle of the night, is now no longer a worry. We did a good bit of shopping too, as Grenada has good food shopping at fairly decent prices. Coenie has been busy working for beer – 2 cases of Carib his time - for savaging an anchor belonging to Vagabond (Otto & Lille ex False Bay Yacht Club). We had sailed round to Hog island for a few days and also met up with Brian White and cat on Glee (also FBYC). Brain decided to abandon his immediate plans to go to Venezuela and will join us going north for while, we expect him in Carriacou in the next day or so. Sadly we said goodbye to Jack and Tom on Fantasy, who headed down to Trinidad. We will be In Carriacou for a few more days and then head back to St Vincent & the Grenadines
