It is 2.00pm Wednesday (local time) and we have 140nm to go to Apia, Samoa – arriving Friday morning. Yip, this is were we cross the International Date line and loose a day, so at midnight we go from Wednesday to Friday. 

It has been 2 weeks since we left Bora-Bora – 2 weeks without any news from home, or of the rest of the world.. feels a little weird. We hope all is well out there and we have not missed anything “major”

This passage is going well, the wind has been very mild and although the swell is still fairly large, the interval between swells is long and so we gently rise over them. We are doing long night shifts, with Mike taking the 8 – 1am and I then take over till 6am... pretty tiring. We are watching lots of movies and TV shows and reading books. Yesterday I lay out on the pilot house roof and tanned for half an hour – the first time this year!

Looking forward to getting into Apia – and hoping there is space on the marina for us.
