We spent last night at this remote Cay, with our friends on Isla Mia. We pulled out the steaks and had a good old braai, saying goodbye to them & their friends. It has been great meeting & travelling with them, and we will miss Doug, Terry & Max very much.

After staring off this trip to the Bahamas in March in awful weather, we have recently been rewarded with stunning weather and beautiful anchorages. Mike has been pole fishing everyday and, if you can believe it,  we are sick of seafood!. Today we are sailing across the banks to West End (edge of Grand Bahama) and then tomorrow we cross the gulf stream back to Florida. Given favourable winds, we have decided to head further south to Fort Lauderdale, rather than back to Fort Pierce. As Fort Lauderdale is the hub of yachting in Florida we will be able to get everything (and more) that we need.

I will post some pics of our last weeks in the Bahamas, as soon as we get a decent internet connection again
