Yesterday we left Ft Lauderdale bright and early for our trip down to Key West.  It was a beautiful day - see the pic of us passing North Miami below.  We were accompanied by a small pod of very spotty grey dolphins for some time - who seem to love the bulbous bow.
We had a full day at sea and anchored off Indian Key at about 5.30. We averaged about 8knots over the 91nm which was a very comfortable ride.  This morning we set off for Key West in slightly rougher weather, but again a very pleasant trip - with all systems running well.  Around midday Tom spotted a pair of very large turtles mating!  How they stay afloat is another true miracle of nature!  Sadly the only fish caught were some smelly barracuda, that were promptly sent off on their way.
We have just anchored in Key West and look forward to a day in town tomorrow.
