We arrived here today in the most gorgeous weather... as Karen & Willy said ... "finally they are in the Bahamas!"  This Cay is just behind the more famous Staniel Cay, but has its own unique, and somewhat bizarre charm. The big attraction here, other than the turquoise blue water and perfect anchorage, are the pigs. Yes ... that is correct... the pigs!  They have these half tame, huge pigs on the island that come out to your dinghy for food. They wade in, even ducking under the water to get the carrots... which they then ate greedily (ha...ha..  like pigs!!).

Later in the day I was preparing dinner and threw some raw chicken bits overboard - immediately the seagulls arrived to snatch up the pieces. I then threw in some chicken blood and within minutes we had two large nurse sharks swimming under our boat.  Attached to the sharks were their commensals, the shark-suckers or remora. This time I managed to get some great photos.
