A quick break to Florida

Apologies for not updating earlier, but Mike and I decided to take a quick trip to Florida. We took Time2 to the Shelter Bay Marina in Colon, and with some airmiles that I had, that were about to expire and we were able to get two tickets to Miami.  After a two and a half hour taxi ride from the marina to Panama International airport we were off.
We are staying with our dear friends Di & Will Paterson in Fort Lauderdale and catching up on good food, great shopping and sorting out some boat issues. We will be back in Panama next weekend.
It is Mike's birthday tomorrow, and we plan to celebrate first world style ...eating in a fab restaurant.
