We are just entering Charleston after a 350nm trip from the Bahamas. The trip took us only 48 hours as we were aided by the incredible Gulf Stream. At one point, 120nm south of Charleston we were in a 4 knot current. Have a look at this photo I took of the instruments. Our boat speed is 7knots, but our SOG (overall speed over ground) is 11.1knots. At times it felt like a rollercoaster!

We will stay here for a few days before heading further north, to the Chesapeake and beyond.
