Karen and Willy arrived on Friday evening at about 9.30 - after a delayed flight and without Karen's luggage. On Saturday we pottered around the Georgetown area, bought some groceries, watched the Blou Bulle beat the Chiefs (Super 14 Rugby), and eventually recovered Karen's luggage.  The next morning we woke up to a small school of dolphins swimming close to the yacht. We jumped in and had a great time swimming with these very friendly and curious creatures. Sadly my underwater camera skills deserted me, and I only managed to get one decent picture.
Monday morning we headed north - the weather was fairly grim again and we took most of the afternoon to get up to Lee Stocking Island. Mike managed to catch another Dorado which we have already eaten. I think it was a bit of a shock to Karen, as these fish fight like crazy, and continue to flap around violently even after being hit on the head - there was blood splattered all over of deck.
Our next stop was Back Point on Great Guana Cay, a fairly big settlement with about 300 people. Again the Rolle family seem to dominate .. it would seem that 50% of the people of the Exumas have this surname... there is also a Rolle Town and a Rolleville on Great Exuma. Lord John Rolle imported the first cotton seeds to these islands, and had 300 slaves. The then bequeathed 2300acres of land (and his name) to these people and there decendants. The land can never be sold to outsiders, which is no doubt why they have all kept the surname!
