All is well on board.
It was time to say farewell to French Polynesia and continue West. We've thoroughly enjoyed our time on these friendly islands, where everyone seems to have a smile on their face and a flower in their hair. We'll look back on them with great affection.
The last couple of days in Bora Bora were spent getting in to passage-making mode, stowing things away, cooking up meals and enjoying a final 'happy hour' at the Mai Kai marina with cruising friends.
The first 24 hours, always difficult, have gone well and we had fair winds and following seas to help us settle in to the passage.
