Our work is complete and it’s is time to be saying farewell to Carriacou and its friendly people. 

The yard here at Carriacou Marine Ltd has been great.  Trevor, Edwin and the team have been so helpful and we couldn’t have wished for a better place to haul out in the Caribbean. The small, but remarkably well-stocked chandlery and mini market have been really handy and Kevin’s vegan suppers have been the best vegan fare we’ve tasted in the island chain.  All of this and a stone’s throw from our favourite watering hole and pizza restaurant, the Lazy Turtle with its new owners Sue and Shayne and our friendly fruit and veg stall holders Rufus and Big Mama.

Macushla being taken back where she belongs, in the water.  As if on cue, the following morning just after anchoring in the bay, a welcome rain squall came through and washed the decks free of the accumulated dust and grit from our time in the yard.
