We very much enjoyed our few days in the sheltered anchorage at Salinas and this proved to be an excellent place to re-provision.  Once again we met some lovely cruising folk, but as is quite often the case we were saying our good-byes all too soon.

We had an early start for the 25 nm sail down the coast to Puerto Patillas where we were tucked up by lunchtime, before the trade winds gathered their strength.  In the afternoon we swam off the boat – gorgeous clean , warm water.  Perfect.
