All is well on board and the rollercoaster ride continues.

Cloudy, overcast skies make for dark, starless nights and with no moon to help proceedings it is very dark indeed. Last night as Macushla was cantering along in to the inky, black night our intrepid skipper was summoned to deal with something very large and very flappy on the aft deck. He discovered a stranded flying fish the size of a very large mackerel and was able to return it to the sea, so that it could continue on its way.

Our twice daily long-range radio schedule is a joy and reminds us that, contrary to what Sue might imagine, we're not the only ones out here doing this!
