After our overnight pitstop in the Bahia San Telmo, we were able to stock up in the morning with some fresh produce courtesy of one of the local islanders who paddled up in his dug out canoe. With the promise of more favourable weather, we decided to head over to Isla San Jose, our chosen anchorage prior to setting off for the Galapagos, and had a glorious sail over there.

Arriving mid-morning, the rest of the day was spent prepping the boat and cooking some underway meals. The Galapagos have very stringent entry requirements in order to protect their fragile eco-system, so skipper donned his wetsuit and spent a couple of hours cleaning the hull and checking for any pesky barnacles.
