We have really enjoyed our time in Nevis.  It’s one of the cleanest Caribbean islands we’ve visited and the tourism is very low key. The Nevisians are really friendly and laid back and make you feel extremely welcome. Amongst the many former sugar plantations, some of which have been transformed in to luxurious inns, there stands, bizarrely, a drag racing strip – a vote winning promise to the youth of the island that was delivered upon election.
