All is well on board. We're having to cope with the light winds which this passage is known for and are trying all manner of sail configurations to keep Macushla moving. Sometimes this can prove to be an exhausting exercise with very little gain.

So far we've enjoyed a positive current and the seas are now flat, so we're content to relax and enjoy the slow ride. The large moon is a joy - sailing 'with the lights on' once again.

Today's passage targets:
- Bananas to ripen
- Skipper to finish reading Wolf Hall
- Sue to arrive on watch without having to be poked with a sharp stick
