We were up at first light to take the ebb current down the Beaufort River, arriving in time to take the flood tide up the Savannah River.  We have now berthed at the City Dock in downtown Savannah, after negotiating a stream of commercial traffic making its way up the river, and are looking forward to exploring the city over the next couple of days.
