All is well on board.

The wind has picked up, so we're reefed down and making fast progress. We're now over half way and are already focusing on timing arrival to co-incide with slack water at our intended destination of Fakarava.

The pass in to the lagoon of the atoll is one of only two breaks in the encompassing reef and therefore this is subject to fairly substantial tidal flows, hence the need to time our entry as close to slack water as possible.

For the moment we're maintaining our speed, as we're expecting the wind to drop off as we get closer.
