We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our month long pit-stop in Caribbean France.  Terre de Haut has, for us, been an easy place to linger.  We’ve taken the opportunity to meet up with friends old and new as they’ve stopped off on their way south.

Until recently the weather forecast has not tempted us to leave, but we’re now preparing for the off and it’s time to stow the gin.  On top of the usual weather variables, we’ve been studying the ocean currents for the next leg , trying to avoid any adverse flow, where possible:

So, as another Caribbean season draws to a close, we’re looking forward to exploring the Dutch Antilles.
