Great Lameshur Bay, St John, U.S. Virgin Islands
We were anchored in the delightful Brewers Bay for 9 nights and enjoyed a very social time with other anchored boats, including friends on Balvenie and Miss Molly, fellow cruisers whom we’d not seen for a very long time. With its lovely clean water and white sand beach, we enjoyed a daily swim off the boat and it was difficult to drag ourselves away.

However, with the arrival of some very benign sailing conditions and have restocked on provisions, we decided to head for St John and had a gentle sail along its south coast as far as Great Lameshur Bay where we picked up one of the National Park’s Mooring Buoys.
