After being fog-bound for two days in the very pleasant and tranquil Broad
Cove, we awoke to clear skies and were able to get underway again. In spite of
the SE swell running as a result of Hurricane Leslie, we had a comfortable sail
out of Penobscot Bay and round to Allen Island in Muscongus Bay.
We picked up one of the heavy duty moorings in Georges Harbour and had a very
settled night, as well as being treated to one of those special Maine sunsets.
