All is well on board. We're pleased to report that conditions have settled down after a lively 24 hours of high winds and big, confused seas. The evening radio net had given us confidence that this would be the case, as vessels to the east of us reported having had similar conditions which had since abated. Gaining this first hand information is one of the many benefits of participating in a radio net.
It's wonderful to have a large moon for much of the night, especially in those conditions; things never seem quite as fast or scary when you can see where you're going.
We're delighted to be ticking off the miles, as we start to ponder on the timing and location of our landfall, and skipper is down to his last two pieces of fruit cake.
